Restore Physiotherapy is owned and managed by Carol Chaddock who who set-up the practice in 2006. Carol qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1985 from Newcastle Polytechnic (now Northumbria University). Following several NHS posts in the North East and a spell in Chicago she settled in Cheshire, specialising in musculoskeletal problems in 1990. It was here that she developed her skills using the McKenzie and Cyriax approaches to treatment.
Since then she has developed further specialist skills in managing spinal pain, working as a Clinical Specialist and then as an Extended Scope Practitioner. Carol has been closely involved in setting up and developing physiotherapy in NHS chronic pain and specialist spinal services in South Manchester and Cheshire. She has also been involved in research targeting the prevention of chronic low back pain with both Manchester and Keele Universities. Carol currently works at the practice full-time whilst remaining involved with Chronic Pain Management services locally.
Carol has additional qualifications in Cognitive Therapy, Acupuncture and Modified Pilates and also gained an MSc in Pain Science and Management from Keele University in 2008.

Restore Physiotherapy's Associates
Rebecca Corney qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Brighton in 1994. Since then she has held a number of NHS and private posts, in Kent, Berkshire and Cheshire and has spent the majority of her time working and developing her skills in the field of musculoskeletal medicine.
She currently works part time at the practice and in the NHS locally as a Clinical Specialist.
She has a particular interest in the treatment of spinal and shoulders problems and has completed a post graduate training to extend her skills, including passing her Society of Orthopaedic Medicine exams in 2010. Rebecca has also studied an advanced management of spinal pain programme with the University of Keele and is currently undertaking her Modified Pilates training.
Johnathan Kemp qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2005 from the University of Nottingham. Since then he has gained experience in the management of musculoskeletal problems. John has additional qualifications in Acupuncture and Sports Massage. When not working John enjoys running competitively, playing football and being outdoors camping and hiking.
Clare Cowell qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2004 from Keele University. She is experienced in the management of musculoskeletal problems and her particular interests are occupational health, ergonomics and manual therapy, predominantly using a Maitland approach. Clare holds an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare. She is also a keen cricketer, playing at county level in the past and also holding a cricket coaching qualification.
